Biography

A middle distance runner, who ran in college for Villanova, Vicki Huber ran the 3,000 metres at the 1988 Seoul Olympics and the 1,500 metres at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. In 1987 she was NCAA Champion in the 3,000 metres, both indoors and outdoors. In 1988 she won both the 1,500 and 3,000 at the NCAA Indoors and defended her 3,000 outdoor title. She again won the 3,000 at the 1989 NCAA, in- and out-doors. As a senior she also won the NCAA Cross-Country Championship and led Villanova to the team title. Huber won one US national outdoor title, in the 1,500 metres at the 1988 TAC Meet. Huber was inducted into the Delaware Track & Field Hall of Fame in 2001 and the Delaware Sports Museum and Hall of Fame in 2002.

Personal Bests: 1500 – 4:07.99 (1996); 3000 – 8:37.25 (1988).
