Biography

Terje Langli competed internationally for Norway between 1986 and 1996. In that period he won one World cup race, a 30 km classical race in Örnsköldsvik in 1990, and competed in a total of five World Championships, making history in 1991 at Val di Fiemme when he became the first World Champion in the 10km classical style. Langli was a good relay skier and was a part of the Norwegian relay teams that were World Champions in 1991 and 1993. Langli has been involved in the sport since he retired, and was part of the national coaching staff for several years, and later worked in ski equipment sales.
