Shogo Kamo started playing at the Hamamatsu First Junior High School. He then went to Waseda First High School and graduated from the School of Science and Engineering of the Waseda University. At the Berlin Olympics in 1936 he played both matches for Japan as left wing. In the match against Sweden, Japan pulled one back when he scored his team’s first goal just four minutes into the second half. His elder brother Takeshi was also part of the squad.
