Biography

Bob Jaugstetter was a coxswain who graduated from Saint Joseph’s University in 1970. Jaugstetter coxed US crews at the 1975 Pan American Games, winning a bronze medal in the coxed four; the 1984 Olympics, winning silver in the eights; and at eight World Championships between 1974-83. Jaugstetter won a silver medal in the coxed four in 1981 and a bronze in 1982 at the Worlds. He later became a coach, starting out at St. Joseph’s Prep, and then at Wichita State University, Northeastern University, and then Tulane.
