Biography

Paul Hartloff was a distance freestyler, who swam for the Santa Barbara Swim Club in 1976. He placed sixth at the 1975 AAU Meet in the 1,500 free, and won a silver medal in the 1,500 at the 1975 Pan American Games. Hartloff made the 1976 Olympic team by placing third at the US Olympic Trials. He later attended Stanford, graduating in 1980.
