Biography

Nelson Gray was runner-up in the 1932 AAU shot put. He was ranked #8 that year in the shot put world lists. He also ranked #30 in the discus in 1932, but did not compete in that event at the Olympic Trials. He competed for Stanford and the Olympic Club. Gray later owned a citrus grove in Upland, California.

Personal Bests: SP – 15.84 (51-11½) (1932); DT – 46.45 (152-5) (1933).
