Mostyn Ffrench-Williams had the following podium finishes at major championships: 1st in the 1938 British Empire Games 4×220 yards Freestyle Relay (with Frederick Dove, Norman Wainwright, and Bob Leivers), 2nd in the 1934 British Empire Games 4×200 yards Freestyle Relay (with Norman Wainwright, Reginald Sutton, and Bob Leivers), 3rd in the 1934 British Empire Games 3×110 yards Medley Relay (with Jack Besford and the non-Olympian Alan Summers). He also finished sixth in the 1934 British Empire Games 100 yards Freestyle and competed in the 1938 British Empire Games 110 yards Backstroke. In the British Empire Games he represented England.
