Megan Kleine started swimming competitively in Lexington, Kentucky, where she attended Henry Clay High School. She then swam in college at the University of Texas. Morris swam the 100 breaststroke at the 1992 Olympics, making the B final, and swam in the prelims of the women’s medley relay, which earned her a gold medal. She later married, becoming Megan Morris, and she and her husband settled in Houston, where she raised two daughters.
