Biography

At the 1928 Olympics Marjorie Clark was fifth in the high jump and was eliminated in the semifinals of the 100 m race. In Los Angeles she was eliminated in the heats of the 100 metres and again placed fifth in the high jump. She set the 80 metre hurdles world record in 1930 and 1931 although it was broken in the 1932 Olympic final. In 1934 Clark won both the 80 m hurdles and the high jump at the British Empire Games.

Personal Bests: 100 – 12.5 (1932); 80H – 11.8 (1931); HJ – 1.606 (1934).
