Biography

Lou Sara Clark played volleyball at the 1963 Pan American Games, winning a silver medal with the US team. Before the 1964 Olympics, she married and competed as Lou Sara Galloway at Tokyo, representing the Dallas YMCA. Galloway attended San Antonio Junior College and later played on the US team that toured Canada with the Soviet team in 1965, and in 1969 was on a US team that competed in the North American-Caribbean Cup matches. Galloway later divorced and re-married in 1968, to William McWilliams, Jr., a Houston manufacturing magnate and University of Kansas graduate.
