Biography

Karyn Palgut played handball for the US at the 1988 and 1992 Olympics. She attended college at Florida State University, which she attended on a volleyball scholarship. In volleyball she was All-Conference from 1982-84, and was Metro Conference MVP as a junior and senior. Palgut also played basketball and softball for the Seminoles. In handball Palgut was on the US National team from 1986-92. She played at the 1986 Goodwill Games, the 1990 World Championships, and was a member of the 1987 USA Cup team. Palgut later settled in Colorado Springs, where she worked as a personal trainer, with a specialty in TRX training. Palgut is a member of the Florida State University Athletic Hall of Fame.
