Biography

Jeff Hamilton competed in the speed skating demonstration event at the 1992 Albertville Winter Olympics, placing third. Hamilton was a four-time World Champion in speed skiing. In 1995, Hamilton became the first skier to surpass 150 miles/hr (241 km/hr) and he held the world record from 1995-97. He also set a world record for in-line skating at 65 miles/hr (104.5 km/hr). Hamilton owned a ski shop in Aspen, Colorado.
