Biography

James Hubbard rowed the coxed four at the 1928 Amsterdam Olympics, sitting in the third seat. Hubbard attended Harvard, graduating in 1929. He then attended Union Theological Seminary and became a minister. He served Episcopal churches in Saranac, New York; New Haven, Connecticut; and Barre, Vermont. In 1956 he became vicar of the Hartland United Church in Hartland, Vermont, serving in that role until his death.
