Biography

Together with his compatriot Pierre Vago, French architect Jack Neel received an Honorable Mention for his work Centre Social de la Jeunesse et des Sports de la Commune de Levallois at the 1948 London Olympics in the Art Competitions in the category Architecture, Designs For Town Planning. He started his studies at the Regional School of Architecture of Lyon in 1925 and was admitted to the École des Beaux-Art in Paris in 1930. He graduated in 1935 with a community center and a small church. He worked as an architect in Paris 1938-67 and was a member of Société des architectes diplômés du gouvernement (S.A.D.G.) from 1937-56.
