Biography

Isamu Toyofuji was a Japanese painter and illustrator. In the late 1930ies and early 1940ies he exhibited at major exhibitions. His works appeared in literature magazines like Mita bungaku (Mita Literature) and Shi shito (Poetry Apostle). In 1940 he was awarded the Association Award of the Independent Art Association.
