Biography

Homer Taylor was born in Leyden, Massachusetts but moved to Greenfield, Massachusetts as a young boy. He later worked as a bank teller in Greenfield, although he moved to Chicago and worked for the First National Bank of Chicago. He later worked for Franklin MacVeagh & Co., a wholesale food organization in Chicago, although he then returned to Greenfield. Taylor was one of the co-founders of the Eastern Archery Association, and he served as President of both that organization and the National Archery Association.
