Farzad MANSOURI

Farzad was born in Parwan, Afghanistan. Representing Afghanistan, he won a silver medal at the 2019 Asian Junior Taekwondo Championships in Amman and was the flagbearer for Afghanistan at the Opening Ceremony of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.

Soon after the Games, Farzad left Afghanistan due to safety concerns. Today, Farzad trains alongside GB Taekwondo athletes and continues to improve his English. He was a member of the Refugee Olympic Team at the Olympic Games Paris 2024.
