Biography

Carol Moseke was a discus thrower for the University of Nebraska and the Nebraska Track Club. She was a two-time AAU Champion in 1966-67, and in 1967, won a gold medal at the Pan American Games in the discus. She later became a teacher and coach, including an assistant coach in high school football. In 1996 she was inducted into the Nebraska High School Sports Hall of Fame. Her son, Scott Frost, later played a few years in the NFL and then became a top collegiate football coach, moving to his alma mater, also the University of Nebraska in 2018.

Personal Bests: SP – 46-7½ (14.21) (1968); DT – 174-6 (53.19) (1971); JT – 146-5 (44.63) (1968).
