The Latvian four-man bobsleigh team of Oskars Melbardis, Arvis Vilkaste, Daumants Dreiskens and Janis Strenga finally received their gold medals from Sochi 2014 in a reallocation ceremony held at the 2020 European Championships in Sigulda. The Latvian quartet finished second but were promoted to gold after the Russian bob piloted by Alexsandr Zubkov was disqualified for doping offences.
