Amir ANSARI

Amir was born in Iran but grew up in Afghanistan, before he was forced to flee in 2015. Since then, Amir has sought refuge in Sweden, where he has found a new family and started training with Stockholm Cycling Club. He has participated in national and international championships in time trial and road race competitions as part of the Stockholm CK team and UCI Refugee Team.

Amir believes that cycling has helped him find a balance and maintain his motivation with other aspects of his life. Inspired by the journey of Masomah Ali Zada at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020, Amir joined the IOC Refugee Olympic Team Paris 2024.
