Sergo Chakhoyan had the following podium finishes at major championships: 2nd in the 1994 World Championships Light-Heavyweight class (380.0 kg); 3rd in the 2003 World Championships Light-Heavyweight class (377.5 kg). He set one world record in the light-heavyweight snatch (175.5) in 1994.
