Biografie

Charvin Dixon was a trapshooter at the 1976 Olympics. At the time he was in the US Army, as a Specialist 4th Class at Fort Benning, Georgia. Dixon was US Champion in trapshooting in 1976. He competed twice at the Pan American Games, winning team trap gold medals in 1975 and 1979, and a silver in individual trapshooting in 1979. He also won a bronze medal in individual trapshooting and was a member of the gold medal winning trap team at the 1975 World Championships. Dixon attended the University of South Dakota, earning a law degree there in 1985. He became a lawyer in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, serving as the lawyer for the South Dakota Board of Medical and Osteopathic Examiners for 17 years, before resigning in April 2004.
