Elected to the IOC AC
Why did I want to be a member of the IOC Athletes’ Commission?

I have always wanted to represent people and address their needs so that I can try to help them to change something – that’s why I studied International Relations.

I fell in love with sport and it became a big part of my life. I wanted to listen to the needs of the athletes and try to help them at the highest possible level. I’m ready to do my best to make sure athletes are well represented within the Olympic Movement.

What do the Olympic Games mean to me?

As a three-time Olympian, I am a big fan of the five rings! I believe that sport has the power to teach us to strive for our best while respecting others. And I believe sport and especially the Olympic Games can break down walls and help us unite people.
