السيرة الذاتية

After finishing tenth at the 1976 Olympics, Robin Cousins won a bronze medal at the 1978 World Championships and improved to take second place in 1979. Then at the 1980 Olympics at Lake Placid he retained for Britain the title that John Curry had won in 1976. Cousins, a student from Bristol, gave a superb display of free skating at Lake Placid to edge ahead of Jan Hoffmann of East Germany, though Hoffman later turned the tables on Cousins at the World Championships. Cousins came from a sporting family and his father was at one time goalkeeper for Millwall. In 1989 Robin was appointed head of the coaching staff at Ice Castle International, a new advanced training centre in the San Bernadino Mountains of Southern California.
