Robert Lewis SAMUELSON

Bob Samuelson played college volleyball at Cal State Northridge. He was on the US national team from 1989-94, playing in the 1992 Barcelona Olympics, the 1991 World Championships, and the 1989 and 1991 World Cups. In 1994 Samuelson joined the Suntory Sunbirds of the Japanese Professional Volleyball League. He played there for three seasons, being named league MVP and leading them to the league championships in his first year. Samuelson also played briefly on the beach in 1995 and then again in 2004.
