السيرة الذاتية

In September 1911, James Rosenberger anchored the Irish-American AC 4×440 y relay team (with Mel Sheppard and the non-Olympians Harry Schaaf and Harry Gissing) that broke the world record, and set the first IAAF-recognized world record for 4×440 y or 4×400. He was better in the shorter sprints, though, winning the 1910 AAU 100 y and finishing second in that event in 1911. He was third in the 1913 AAU 220y. He later worked as an auditor and was a track coach at St. John's University.

Personal Bests: 100y – 10.2 (1910); 440y – 50.4 (1911).
