James Jeremiah HIGGINS

Like many of the 1964 lugers, Jim Higgins was in the military in 1964, as a Specialist, 4th class in the US Army. He and his doubles partner, Ronnie Walters, were involved in a serious crash while training in Innsbruck. Walters sustained minimal injuries but Higgins was knocked unconscious and they could not continue in the event.
