السيرة الذاتية

Jerry Conine played several different sports at a high level, as did one of his sons. Jerry was a football lineman at Washington State University, where he also wrestled. Conine later took up handball, the American version, and became one of the top American players, placing second in the 1976 US doubles championship. He continued competing in the sport as a senior and super-senior at the national level. By profession, Conine was a trade show installer. His son, Jeff Conine, had an 18-year career in major league baseball, playing mostly first base, with nine different teams. Jeff also competed in racquetball and was a one-time national doubles champion, playing with racquetball legend Marty Hogan. After retiring from baseball he competed in triathlons.
