السيرة الذاتية

After breaking records galore in college, Caitlin Clark is very much on the path to basketball greatness.

Having played against high school seniors in eighth grade and becoming one of the top prospects in the United States, Clark came to notice in 2021 as a freshman at the University of Iowa when she led NCAA Division I in scoring. In her second year, she became the first woman to top Division I in points and assists.

In 2023, she gained nationwide attention by propelling the Hawkeyes to a first NCAA Championship Final. During that game, LSU's Angel Reese made headlines as she taunted Clark with a "you can't see me" gesture and pointed several times to her ring finger as her side closed in on victory. Clark had made the same gesture in a previous match and defended Reese's actions.

March 2024 saw Clark surpass Pete Maravich as the leading scorer in NCAA basketball history. She again led the Hawkeyes to the NCAA Championship Final but they again came up short, this time against the South Carolina Gamecocks.
